The FLOODWALL system is explainded below.  (Please note: The images 1, 2 & 2b are for illustration only - for a better idea of what it looks like on a building, please look at some of our examples

Part 1 comprises a high quality bespoke frame blended with your property, which is permanently bonded to the fabric of the building, protecting all doors and windows.  A number of sealants and techniques are used including closed-cell structured, polyethylene ribbon, which is used to take up irregularities (e.g. Pebbledash) in the fabric of the building.

Part 2 comprises a custom-built, high quality aluminium doorplate which uses a patented sealing and locking mechanism to produce a water-tight seal.  The doorplates are designed for rapid deployment (in under 20 seconds) in poor weather or visibility conditions.

All FLOODWALLS comprise 2 parts: a high quality aluminium frame fixed and sealed to the property and a 3mm thick high quality aluminium removable door. Doors may be up to 4.6m wide and 1m high depending on individual requirements.  Larger versions are available.

A complete FLOODWALL system is extremely cost-effective: it can cost as little as a set of new patio-doors and can be up to 95% cheaper than the cost of reinstating an average property after a flood!

The FLOODWALLS (and Air Brick Covers) come in standard colours, or can be colour-matched to your property.  They have even been approved for use on Grade II Listed buildings, so you can be assured that you will be investing in the best possible solution.

FLOODWALL products have been designed and independently tested to exceed the BS Kitemark® test specifications.!

While most products can allow for "1 litre/per metre/per hour" of leakage (that could be over 230 Litres a day with a patio door and 2 standard doors! ), FLOODWALL allows for no more than 1 litre a week).  The system has been proven to be totally effective and has been successfully used across the UK.

The FLOODWALL System is manufactured and installed in accordance with one or more of the following standards: BS EN ISO 9000.2000; BS 1474 6082-T6; BS 14 70 5251-H22
