Service entries are sealed by injecting a specially formulated Floodbond paste- Internal plumbing openings of less than one metre (e.g. ground floor WC's/showers) are sealed with purpose-made seals
- Suspended floors and some cavity walls may suffer from water ingress via the U-tube effect, which can be overcome by fitting automatic pumps. 12-volt pumps and generator back-up are available
