In response to requests for more information and advice for the residents and businesses of Tewksbury, a group of local flood-related experts and businesses are staging a Flood Fair to help people back on their feet and prevent such devastation happening to them again.
While in other parts of the county Flood Fairs have been held by councils and residents’ associations, until now nothing has been planned for Tewkesbury, which is surprising when it was the worst hit area in July last year.
The Tewkesbury Flood Fair will provide a useful range of flood related advice, resources, products and services, tailored to those who have already suffered or are at risk from flooding, covering topics such as:
- Insurance
- Reconstruction
- Flood Protection
- Property Searching
- IT Support
- Flood Recovery
Visitors to the fair will also be able to check if their home or business is in danger of being flooded and learn about flood warning services and how to sign up for them. More information about those holding stands is detailed below.
